Dreams of the Quill

Forced to live in a hospital room due to a mysterious disease, Ukinare Akane thinks she’s lost everything until the day her ‘onee-chan’ appears. As time passes, her condition improves at the cost of her memory and the woman she calls onee-chan. When she is released from the hospital, she promises to live to her fullest for both herself and her passed away onee-chan. All seems well, but what exactly is the nature of this odd disease?

The Last Season, like Tundra of Heroes, is an experiment. The backstory of its creation and inspiration is absurdly stupid, and, as such, will not be repeated on this site. I hope that, despite this, I will be able to spin a good yarn. Enjoy.

Something to note: for all of you who read TLS on the previous site or on the war3forums, this is much changed. The writing is improved and many small details in the setting are altered, in effect changing the characters’ thoughts greatly. If you disliked TLS before, I urge you to give it another shot, and if you did like it you should re-read it from the beginning before going on, so that you know what’s what.
