COM. Mana faces Ji’Lopan at the bottom of the Quake Falls. He brandishes his Rune Edge and prepares to fend off the demon’s Tainted Jikkuu.

Comments on the piece: I tried to take a page from Itou Noiji’s book when doing the face on this one. While Matsuoka Miu can look bad-ass in her ninja get up, I figured that Barasui’s eye style simply doesn’t fit a battle-ready Mana. That said, this came out quite different from, say, Shana. I like the resulting eyebrows, but the eyes themselves could use work. Also, the hair and hat might seem to blend together. Hopefully that’ll be cleared up when I color this piece. [Color Version.]
